29th Feb: Islamisation trend in Malaysia

Islamisation has always been a controversial topic in multicultural Malaysia. It is also misinterpreted by many. What it means to Islamize Malaysia is interpreted differently by different groups and parties; some even argue that an Islamic state should replace the colonial-era constitution that currently exists. The speaker in this lecture will explore Islamization from the viewpoints of Malaysia's many communities and groups.
