Event Details

Australia has a dangerously simplistic strategy in the current dramatic global changes taking place. There have been good times for 30 years. But things have changed. The past decade has been mediocre. We have lost our frontier status as an opportunity nation. Rotating leadership has undermined trust in our democratic system and distracted from a focus on a global adaptive strategy and productivity growth. Principled realism… a core direction for engagement with trading partners and strategic security partners is manifestly a needed direction.

Prescriptions for the future as we see a redefinition of Australia in the Pacific Asia and the World – is for now. Trade growth is the cornerstone of our wealth creation since Federation in 1901 lacks for vibrancy. It is an urgent agenda for our nation. To do otherwise, is to consign Australia to the mediocre of nations in wealth, growth and influence in the global village. We can do better.
