Event Details

Outgoing State President, Kim Boyer, and members of Council look forward to seeing you at this year's AGM. Immediately following the formal proceedings, Myanmar expert Professor Nicholas Farrelly will speak about its state of ongoing turmoil.


The event will be held at the University Club (smaller room), Sandy Bay, commencing with refreshments at 5.30pm on Tuesday 8 October. The AGM will commence at 6pm.


We encourage members to nominate for election to State Council: President, Vice-President (2 positions), Secretary, Treasurer or Ordinary Member. See the attached nomination form, which must be completed and emailed to the Secretary by 27 September (tas.secretary@internationalaffairs.org.au). Alternatively, you may nominate at the meeting.
